This year, the 6th Annual Aquarius Charity Affair was held at the upscale Noir NYC. Urban Nerd turned entrepreneur and host, Raj Jhaveri, outdid himself from last year’s event. Not only was the venue amazing, but also the turnout was phenomenal. As always, the event was free, but proceeds for charities were raised through bar sales and donations. This year’s charities were the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, the Be Proud Foundation and the All India Democratic Women’s Association. The Catalan Group, Yatra.com, Luv the World, Bright Beginnings Academy, 1947 Premium Lager, Skyy Vodka, NouVeau Entertainment, the Cake Designer, DJ Insomnia, DJ Ambition and the Kati Roll Company were all sponsors.
There were some big names in attendance, such as Joya Dass from AVS, Ayesha Hakki from Bibi Magazine and designer Jorge Vega Umana, to name just a few.
Partygoers danced the night away to sets from DJ Insomnia, DJ Ambition and New York’s very own, Jay Dabhi of 92.3 NowFm.
