From getting her start working at Disney World in Orlando at a young age, to her annual Christmas performances across North America, recording artist Prita Chhabra is certainly one of the hardest working gals in show biz during the holidays! We’ve been following her career for a while here at UrbanAsian, and we’re still as amazed by her music as the first time we heard her!
Fresh off her big win at the 2012 Toronto Independent Music Awards, Prita will be performing at Orlando’s 2012 BankUnited Christmas Parade and Holiday In the Park Festival! The Parade and Festival take place on December 2 at Lake Eola Park. Prita has previously performed at Christmas Parades in Ontario’s Milton and Markham cities, but this is her first performance at the Orlando Christmas Parade, which is expected to draw thousands of people!
On December 17, Prita will also be performing for the 3rd year in a row at Milton’s “Miracle On Main Street” in support of McMaster Children’s Hospital, Halton Women’s Place, Salvation Army and the Hospital for Sick Children. Presented by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, the event is aired live each year on Toronto’s #1 morning show, “Breakfast Television” on Citytv, and features celebrity appearances by wrestling legend Tiger Jeet Singh, former WWE superstar Tiger Ali Singh, and hockey great Walter Gretzky among many others.
