The first Kabul Film and Television Festival was planned in Kabul, Afghanistan recently, where many Bollywood television and film stars were invited to attend!
The event was hosted by Mr. Seyed Sadat, chairman of Khurshid TV. The organizers invited an Indian delegation of Umesh Mehra, Sunil Shetty, Dolly Bindra, Ali Khan, Geeta Basra, Parikshit Sahni and singer Rani Hazarika. The actors and artist were all welcomed kindly by a huge crowd of fans at the airport! At the event, they gave away the awards during the glittering ceremony, attended by top Afghan ministers and by the Indian Embassy. Of course, what award show doesn’t have a rocking after-party?
