For those of you who have been feeling deprived of a solid cinematic love story lately, your wait is over this Diwali—behold, the first official trailer of Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
This isn’t a “Yash Raj Film” by his son or one of the hip young talents from his endless pool of prodigies. Finally, after an 8-year hiatus from the captain’s chair, YRF’s founder himself takes the director credit for Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Aside from Shah Rukh Khan’s role as an army officer, the film’s plot itself remains ambiguous; but with the unmistakable vistas of London, sentimental shayari, dreamy strums of a guitar, and underlying hint of tragedy, the trailer promises that this one is a Yash Chopra romance through and through.
