In Dibakar Banerjee’s next film, “Shanghai” the characters are so believable, the audience will be immersed into this fictional world, a quality lead star Emraan Hashmi enjoys.
I am hungry to do films and to play parts where you generally don’t see the craft in the performance, and that’s what I feel Dibakar can draw and make this character the way he visions it, says Emraan Hashmi.
Dibakar Banerjee explains that Hashmi’s role in ‘Shanghai’ is very low, desperate to do something and vulnerable at the same time. Aside from the total role change for Hashmi, he is also going to sport a paunch in the political thriller. Dibakar also brings together Abhay Deol and Emraan Hashmi for the first time on screen!
