After the release of a new trailer and song promo for Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod, Bollywood lovers have gone into a frenzy! It wasn’t the trailer and promo that caught the attention of fans it was actually the caption the marketers used!
In an error on the part of social media agency, Digit 9, the company tried to pass off film critic Mihir Fadnavis‘ tweet as a quote from the film’s star Saif Ali Khan in the caption of this picture from the Agent Vinod Facebook page.

After much questioning by the media, Digit 9 finally responding as Agent Vinod was trending for the wrong reasons. Finally the official twitter page of Agent Vinod (@FollowAV) replied to Mihir Fadnavis’ tweet with an apology.
Digit 9’s plagiarism will definitely cost the company and it has brought on much more attention to the Agent Vinod promotions, let’s hope there aren’t any more mistakes!
