Shide Boss Releases R&B Version of Amplifier

It’s been 3 years since the original was released, but people still can’t get enough of it. I’m talking about Imran Khan’s track, “Amplifier“. You may have heard many versions and remixes to it, but the latest one is from Shide Boss.

Nottingham’s finest, Shide Boss, recorded an R&B version of Imran Khan’s most famous song till date, Amplifier. Featuring Zide Zed, the remix drew in over 50,000 hits on YouTube in just the first week. It now has over 85,000 hits. Some even say it sounds better than the original!

Shide Boss says “I recently did a UK tour supporting Imran Khan and loved his version of ‘Amplifier’, so thought I would do a R&B version and see what you guys think, this was just a quick thing, written and recorded in one day.”

Shide was also recently featured as ‘Hottie Of The Week’ on BBC 1Xtra!

His debut single ‘Ni Sohniye‘ was number 2 on Nihal’s Top 10 Asian tracks on 1Xtra, only behind Panjabi MC’s legendary collaboration with Jay-Z, and the track also featured on Kiss TV’s first Asian Beats Chart Show.
