The desi ‘Dolly’ from ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye?’ gets another leading role in the upcoming movie ‘Tamanchey’. Although her debut movie didn’t do so well at the Box Office, Richa Chadda was critically acclaimed for her brilliant acting. She has left the audience and the Bollywood Industry speechless.
Richa Chadda started off as a model and slowly created her path towards theatres. She has been part of many plays all over India and Pakistan. Dibakar Bannerjee was the first one to give her a break in Bollywood. Now she is all set to play the leading role in the upcoming movie ‘Tamanchey’.
When asked about the gap between her first and next movie, Richa explained, “I was clear about doing good roles.” This is also the reason why she turned down a lot of offers that came her way. In ‘Tamanchey’, she is paired up with Nikhil Dwivedi of ‘Shor in the City’ fame.
