Over the last few years, Indian movies have seen actresses exposing more and more. However, actress/model Veena Malik, who was part of a controversial nude magazine cover shoot, says she is not going to strip down for any movie any time soon.
Currently in Dubai with her London PR team sealing deals for 2012, Veena has come out to confirm that she will not strip any movie, even in Hollywood:
‘I would never strip for any industry, this is absolutely silly comments coming from press and media and mostly, it upsets me and my fans, i’m an actress and everyone in this industry is doing what the role requires, i will act according to my role needed but this doesn’t mean I forget my values’’ said Veena Malik.
Veena is looking forward to the release of her debut item song ‘ Channo’ in Nitin Manmohan’s – Gali Gali Chor Hai, which hits TV promos in the next few days. She is excited for her releases in 2012 and is excited to make her mark in Bollywood. The films Zindagi 50/50, Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Mumbai 125Km – have all been filmed and set to release in 2012.
‘I have three films out this year, plus Swayamvar and other projects. I have had many offers from international publications which require a bold shoot, which we have refused. I have my principles in work and do that which suits my personality and style’
Veena will also be going to Pakistan to see her family and has made amends with her father.
‘’Every father has the right to tell their child off if they think they are wrong. My father is no different, but now my dad has cooled down and we are totally fine. I’ll be seeing them [her family] all in a few weeks, which I am excited about’.
Looks like 2012 has started off well for Veena and we wish her all the best for her releases.
