King Khan is Here!

We’ve all seen a boxing match sometime in our life before. We have even heard of prominent boxers like Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao, but a new name has been ringing bells and is climbing to the top very quickly.

Amir Khan has proven that he has the skills to become the best boxer. Boxers and fans have noticed his power and quick hands. His record shows 28 fights, with a total of 26 wins, 18 of them knockouts and only 2 losses. While climbing to the top Amir Khan has won the Commonwealth, WBO Intercontinental and WBA International titles in the lightweight division. Khan is also the former WBA and IBF light welterweight champion. This only shows why he is nicknamed King Khan.

Born and raised in Bolton, England, the 25-year old boxer has come a long way. Amir Khan started boxing competitively at the age of 11 winning three junior titles and gold at the 2003 junior olympics along with numerous titles and medals.

While proving himself in the UK, Amir Khan made his US debut fighting Paulie Malignaggi. Khan won in the 11th round with the referee stopping the fight. Gaining some attention from his debut, Amir went out to fight and defeat Marcos Maidana, Zab Judah and Paul McCloskey. Khan was defeated in his recent fight against Lamont Peterson due to points deduction, but this hasn’t stopped Amir from wanting to become the best pound 4 pound boxer.

In addition to dominating the ring, Amir Khan shows his softer side. He was recently engaged to his fiancée Faryal Makhdoom. The American born New Yorker is 20 years old, gorgeous and happy to be with her king. Seems like Amir Khan has met his match.
