Desi Method says "The City is Ours"

Desi Method (DMeth) is starting the new year with a hot new mixtape titled, “The City is Ours,” which is available as a free download.

The group was established in 2005 as a grassroots music movement between Mali (the singer) & Esjay (the producer). With a passion to create music and inspired by movements such as “Dho Point Naun” in the U.K., the duo set out to have their music heard around the world.

They had success with tracks such as Sajda, which featured on radio stations across North America, England and India, as well as a White Label Remix entitled “Woh Bheege Pal” for Hindi film “Manorama – 6 feet under.”  This track went onto feature on the top 20 countdown on Mumbai’s Radio One 94.3 FM.

Over the last few years, the duo have been diligently working on perfecting their craft and sound with an eye on releasing even more material for DMeth fans through their online outlets.  They also worked hard on releasing a series of songs as part of “DMeth Saturdays” – 15 weeks of new song releases!  The project featured collaborations between Vancouver based artists EsjayMaliSzeShaliniShivangi BhayanaQuixotic, and ThinkVik, with everyone pitching in to perform vocals, produce music, and create art.  Download all 15 tracks here: http://www.mediafire.com/?f8piu9aipnp17f1
