Roadies 4 contestant, Shaleen Malhotra was originally supposed to take on the role as Varun in “Pavitra Rishta” after the 20-year leap but apparently due to prior commitments he had to opt out of the show!
According to the news, Malhotra signed on to hos the famous Auto Expo which will be held the first week of January which is why Malhotra requested a 10-day break from “Pavitra Rishta” but Ekta Kapoor didn’t want to take the risk of such a gap. Malhotra had to choose between the two commitments and he chose to host he Auto Show and opt out of the television show.
Ekta Kapoor is being very careful with this leap in “Pavitra Rishta,” hopefully it’s worth the work!
