Want some "Butter Chicken" with A-Slam?

A-slam continues its Explode Your Headphones Remix series with another Non-Stop Megamix!  Last week’s podcast was a combined effort from A-slam’s E.V. and ExxQuiZiT.  This week another A-slam member, Reminisce, drops a 1 hour mash-up of all his favorite Bhangra tunes in this “Butter Chicken Mega Mix!”

 

 

Reminisce, also from Vancouver, has been DJing for over 15 years! Talk about passion! After establishing himself as a DJ, he moved into music recording, production, and even singing. 2 years ago at a Dehli2Dublin show in Vancouver, Reminisce and “E.V.” began talking about the spread of World music and Desi mash-ups.  They soon released their first remix together, “Nakhre vs I need a part 2.”  The tracks viral spread brought Reminisce into A-slam and they began working on their debut album.
