About a week ago, we gave you the scoop on Canadian recording artist, Prita Chhabra, taking the magazine world by storm. Not one to simply sit around, this sensational singer is keeping the momentum going!
This weekend, Prita will be flying straight from sunny Florida, back to the cold North! If you’re thinking that by North, I mean the North Pole, and that Prita’s performing for Santa, you’re not that far off from the truth!
In fact, Prita’s first stop back in Canada will be aboard a float at the Richmond Hill 2011 Santa Claus Parade, this Sunday November 27th starting at 1:30 PM at Yonge Street & Industrial Road.
Prita will be singing a mix of her favorite Christmas carols, but will also sing requests she received from her local fans in Richmond Hill via her social media pages, for the entire duration of the parade. So, if you want to get in the Christmas spirit just head to the parade!
Following the parade, Prita will be proceeding straight to Brampton, where she will perform and also be honored at the ‘Chirhian Da Chamba’ event presented by CJMR 1320 AM’s “Fulkari Radio” program. This mother-daughter themed event promotes healthy mother-daughter relationships, a high self-worth in youth, and aims to help young girls who struggle with identity issues.
Prita got her start in the entertainment industry by performing at Disney World in Orlando, where she grew up after moving from her birthplace of Montreal. Last year, Prita performed at both the Milton Santa Claus Parade and the Orlando Santa Farewell Festival – see clips from both below!
Prita will continue her holiday appearances with a performance at Troy’s Toy Drive in Milton on Dec. 20, along with visits to sing Christmas carols and distribute toys at several hospitals in Ontario.
