Bollywood stars have taken over the seaside town of Blackpool causing the famous UK attraction Madame Tussauds to be renamed Bollypool.
The collection of Bollywood wax figures which will be on display include Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, and a brand new never before seen wax figure of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
The collection was revealed on 19th October and a brand new figure of Kareena Kapoor is set to be unveiled by the actres personally on 27th October.
To make the figures feel at home Madame Tussauds Bollypool laid on some Bollywood inspired theatre.
The touring Bollywood exhibition is a first within Madame Tussauds, designed to allow fans across the globe the chance to enjoy the wax figures and meet their favourite celebrities. The Bollywood figures will travel from Blackpool to other Madame Tussauds atractions throughout the worls including London, Hong Konk, Bangkok and sites in Europe and the US.
Matthew Titherington, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, said: “Bollypool day today is set to be one to remember and we are very excite to welcome the Bollywood superstars. I think fans will be blown away by the beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and we hope they will return when Kareena Kapoor is unveiled on late in October.”
