Bollywood music legends, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy performed on Sunday for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the “Asian Rocks!” event.
Their show was to mark the the 20th anniversary of the Asian Music Circuit in the UK and of course blew away audiences with their magical performance. They celebrated 15 years of composing music together, a truly memorable moment.
The group have provided countless soundtracks for Bollywood films, from Kal Ho Naa Ho to Dil Chahta Hai and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (whose soundtracks all sold in excess of 2 million in India alone); they also recorded the official anthem for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the soundtrack to BBC Films’ West is West (2011).
To celebrate all the talent, of course colleague and friend Salim Merchant was around to pop some bubbly!
Looks like they had a blast celebrating the night!
