Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan join forces for their first ever item song together! The track titled “Aaya re aaya Bodyguard” also features Khan’s real life bodyguard, Shera in the video as well!
The track was shot in Film City and Katrina rigorously rehearsed her steps for the dance because she wanted it to be just as good as “Sheila ki jawani” if not better. Sources say the idea belongs to co-producer, and Khan’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri and wife Alvira. The two are close to Katrina and asked her to do the item number.
“The shoot of the song was sensational and very high on energy,“ said Atul Agnihotri, adding, “Shera was a little apprehensive about his act and dance steps, but Salman and Katrina urged him on. Salman even helped him with his dance steps to ease the tension. Katrina was also encouraging him to perform well. It will be refreshing to see them together on the big screen.”
Since Shera was facing the camera for the first time, he was a bit nervous during the song. Luckily, his two co-stars, Salman and Katrina eased his discomfort, with Salman even helping him rehearse his dance moves.
“Yes, I was a bit nervous but Bhai (Salman) and Katrina were very supportive. I can’t thank him enough for the opportunity he has given me,” says Shera, whose real name is Gurmeet Singh.
