While the city of Mumbai was in mourning due to all the lives lost in the triple bomb blasts on Wednesday, SRK decided to throw a lavish party at his place in order to celebrate Katrina Kaif’s birthday and her latest film release ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.’
It was kind of him to throw Kat a party, but was it really appropriate after over 130 people were injured and 18 people were killed due to terrorism in his own city?
Although a few stars like Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Chunky Pandey, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, and Karan Johar decided to attend the party, numerous declined due to the tragedy. Farhan Akhtar later tweeted, “@iamsrk thanks for the super celebration last night. A perfect end to the release day… Love (sic).”
On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan showed great character when she declined to receive an honor given to her by the French Government on the day of the bombings.
