X-factor India judge, Sonu Nigam, will not only be performing at the 2011 IIFA Awards, but he will be doing so alongside Michael Jackson’s brother and former Jackson 5 member, Jermaine Jackson, for a tribute to the King of Pop.
Sonu said, “Jermaine had come to Mumbai for one of my concerts around the time Michael had just passed away. We met for dinner and I played him some of my compositions, which was when he expressed the desire to be part of the song. The song is called ‘This Is It.'” He then added, “I am humbled that Jermaine and I will perform together for this tribute to Michael in Toronto”
Sonu and Jermaine will perform a song together in Toronto, ON on June 24th, which is the eve of Michael Jackson’s death anniversary.
