Bring out the party hats because Big B, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, himself has confirmed that his gorgeous daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, is indeed pregnant! Mr. Bachchan turned to twitter to share his happy news, stating “NEWS NEWS NEWS !! I AM GOING TO BECOME A GRANDFATHER .. AISHWARYA EXPECTING .. SO HAPPY AND THRILLED !!!” You can feel the excitement of the soon-to-be ‘Big’randpa Bachchan.
Since the moment Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai got married on April 20, 2007, the media has been rife with stories suggesting Aishwarya Rai is pregnant. There were also stories conjured up by some publications that Aishwarya Rai had problems conceiving. Those stories were met by fierce objection by the Bachchan khandaan, who rightfully took objection to stories based on fiction and not fact.
Now, rumors can be put to rest as the official announcement has been made straight from the head of the Bachchan family. We’re very happy that Aishwarya and Abhishek will soon welcome a new baby Bachchan into the family. I suggest we name this new baby “Baby B” so that Abhishek can hold onto his title of “Junior B.” What say, readers?!
