Featured Music What's Happenin'

As classes come to a close and warm weather draws nearer, I’m sure you’ve been wondering what tunes you’ll fill your iPod with to make you dance over the summer.  Well, fret no more, because  Arjun – a London-based singer/songwriter – is all set to give you an amazing track to listen to for the summer.

After spending 8 weeks in the Buzz Asia Chart (peaking at #2) and hitting #26 on the BBC Asian Network Download Chart, Arjun has finally released the official music video for his summer anthem ‘STARGAZER‘!

Even since the success of his first single ‘Remember Tonight’, Arjun‘s been on a roll.  You’ll agree that he’s a star on the rise when you hear his second offering ‘Stargazer’, which has rocketed Arjun to true “star” status.  If his singing skills aren’t enough for you to swoon over, then you’ll be impressed to know that the track is also written and produced by Arjun himself.

In addition, ‘Stargazer’ features the lyrical skills of the gifted MC – Raxstar.  His single ‘Jaaneman’ has racked up over 400,00 views since its release under 3 months ago.  To top it off, the official ‘STARGAZER’ remix has been produced by none other than the legendary Rishi Rich!  Stay locked to UrbanAsian to find out details for when the remixes will drop.

Arjun is a London-based singer, songwriter and music producer. In 2010 he was tipped in The Independent as one of the rising stars in the British Asian music scene, after creating a buzz with his debut single ‘Remember Tonight’. The track received a great response, gaining regular rotation on TV channels such as B4U, Zing, Brit Asia, Flava TV and Channel AKA. The song and its various remixes were supported by radio DJ’s across the UK, including Nihal, who played the Desi Remix for 4 consecutive weeks on his BBC Radio 1 show. In his short career, Arjun has performed all across the country, has supported US superstars such as Jagged Edge and Blackstreet, and was one of the headline acts at Zee TV’s ‘Diwali on Trafalgar Square’, performing to a crowd of over 30,000.
