Daljit Kaur Returns to Television on "Vaidehi"

After playing a sweet role in “Santaan” and then having the world fall in love with her and (now) husband Shaleen Bhanot on Nach Baliye, the beautiful Daljit Kaur is back from her hiatus to join the cast of the highly anticipated new show “Vaidehi!”

After getting married this will be Daljit Kaur’s first show! “Vaidehi” will start at the end of May once “Chand Chupa Badal Mein” ends on Star Plus. The show, produced by Four Lions Films and Panglosean’s Entertainment, is not only about the relationship of a suave business man and his older sister, but what happens when the siblings find true love.

The role of the older sister, which will be played by Daljit, is said to be a challenging one as “she will be physically challenged” said a source, what that exactly means is hard to determine, guess we’ll just have to watch the show!

Daljit’s younger brother will be played by Baron Sobti of “Baat Hamari Pakki Hai” fame. Sanaya Irani from “Miley Jab Hum Tum” will also be in the show as Baron’s love interest. The male lead opposite Daljit hasn’t been finalized yet but there is word that Abhaas Mehta of Devi fame may be the one to bag that role.
