Chaitanya and Shubhangi to star in Sony's latest show

Sony entertainment is coming out with a hindi remake of the popular Tamil drama, Metti Oli and we’ve heard that Chaitanya Choudhary and Shubhangi Aatre will play the lead roles!

It has been a while since we’ve seen Chaitanya on Sony since his role in the horror show “Aahat.” Shubhangi also took a break from acting when she hurt her pelvic bone forcing her to leave NDTV Imagine’s “Do Hanson Ka Jodaa.” A lot of big names were approached for the show but the duo is practically finalized as the lead pair!

The hindi version has not been named yet but the UTV produced show will follow the simple life of a loving father and his five daughters. The daughter’s are raised thinking that the road to marriage is a beautiful one but the reality of their married lives is much different than the fantasy their father built up in their mind. Shubhangi Aatre will be playing the affectionate eldest daughter who not only takes care of her father but is very close to her younger sisters as well.

Other actors who have been approached to be a part of the show are Smriti Kalra, Aanchal Sabharwal and Anjali Abrol. Keep it logged on to Urban Asian to find out who else is going to be apart of this new adventure!
