Following on from the success of his first single ‘Remember Tonight’, London-based singer Arjun is back with his second offering ‘Stargazer’. The track is written, produced & performed by Arjun himself, and also features the lyrical skills of the gifted MC – Raxstar. Here’s a small sneaky peak of what Arjun has in store for you!
In this acoustic guitar-based track, Arjun has a chance to show his more contemplative side. He tells the story of a musician struggling to make it in the industry, dreaming of one day being a star, while asking his loved one to stick with him through it all. The creamy, guitar-driven grooves coupled with Arjun’s distinctive, soothing vocals are bound to give you tingles!
Arjun’s first single ‘Remember Tonight’ received an amazing response in the UK Asian and Urban scenes, gaining regular rotation on all major Asian TV channels (including B4U, Zing & Brit Asia TV) as well as Mainstream Urban channels Flava TV and Channel AKA. The song and its various remixes were supported by radio DJ’s across the UK; the Desi Remix was played by DJ Nihal for 4 consecutive weeks on his BBC Radio 1 show, while the Dubstep Remix was given its exclusive first play on Bobby Friction’s BBC Asian Network show.
In his short music career, Arjun has already supported US superstars such as Jagged Edge andBlackstreet, and has performed at numerous major events across the UK. In October 2010 he was one of the headline acts at Zee TV’s ‘Diwali on Trafalgar Square’, performing to a crowd of over 30,000. Tipped in The Independent as one of the rising stars in the British Asian music scene, Arjun is definitely one to watch in 2011.
