Bollywood’s “Prince,” Vivek Oberoi, is finally tying the knot! 34-year-old Vivek Oberoi married Priyanka Alva  this weekend in Banglore.

Alva is a beautiful management graduate and the daughter of former Karnataka minister the late Jeevaraj Alva and renown dancer Nandini. Rumor has it that Oberoi was so taken with Alva that he expressed his love through poetry!

The mehndi ceremony took place on Thursday, Oct. 28th and the wedding was held Friday, Oct. 29th,  at the Alva’s Farmhouse near Lumbini Gardens. Our hero, Vivek Oberoi, arrived in a mercedes with the Baraati’s in tow, from the Hotel Chancery Pavilion and entered through the back gate of the farmhouse to avoid the media. The wedding was  private event just for close family members and friends.

The glamorous wedding included a decor that was said to be a mix of Mangalorean and South Indian cultures. Although most of the decoration materials came from the city, a Maharashtrian company designed the outdoor decorations for the events. Of course what Bollywood wedding would be complete without fabulous fashion?

Tarun Tahilani designed both the brides and grooms outfits for the event.

The wedding will be followed by a grand reception at the ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai this weekend with all of tinsel town invited to join the celebrations. Anyone wondering if Ashwariya Rai or the Bachchans will be there? Guess we’ll have to wait and find out!
