‘Indian Police Force’ series, produced and directed by Rohit Shetty, stars Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles. Malhotra plays the role of cop Kabir Malik, who works with Vivek Oberoi’s character, Vikram Bakshi, to find a ghost bomber who set off bombs all over Delhi. Shilpa Shetty’s character, Chief Tara Shetty, who arrives from Gujarat to help the Delhi police team catch the bomber Zarar.
Although the pace and plot of the initial episodes are a bit slow, the VFX and action created by Rohit Shetty makes up for it. The production is a Rohit Shetty production through and through, with detailed action scenes. Malhotra owns the screen in his OTT debut and captivates audiences as a Delhi police cop dealing with the death of his wife while also trying to find the bomber. His execution of action scenes is impeccable, and Malhotra brings the perfect cop stature and presence on screen. He nails every emotional scene, especially in latter episodes, as he takes over the screen with his acting.
Shilpa Shetty is also fantastic to watch onscreen as a strong and determined female cop, who doesn’t back down from holding her position in front of higher-ups. Although Oberoi is in fewer episodes than initially assumed, his ability to hold his own in front of Malhotra as a supporting lead is effective. Sharad Kelkar is a surprise element in the last two episodes, as he plays Jagtap, a RAW agent stationed in Dhaka who helps Kabir catch Zarar. As always, Kelkar’s screen presence is unparalleled, and he brings the extra dose of action in the last episode.
