Blockbuster film ‘Gadar 2’ is now streaming worldwide on ZEE5 Global, and fans can’t contain their excitement as their favorite duo Tara Singh and Sakina are back on their screens! 

‘Gadar 2’, written and directed by Anil Sharma, is a sequel to ‘Gadar’: Ek Prem Katha’ which starred Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as Tara and Sakina, and Amrish Puri as Sakina’s father, and released in 2001. ‘Gadar 2’ flashes forward to the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, and focuses on Tara, Sakina, and their grown up son Charanjeet (played by Utkarsh Sharma). When Charanjeet, also called Jeetey’, gets captured in Pakistan, Tara Singh goes back to Pakistan to find him. 

Anil Sharma brings back the nostalgic songs and emotions associated with the ‘Gadar’ franchise. He also incorporates background music and longer shots that were associated with 90’s and early 2000’s Hindi films. 

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s chemistry is stronger than ever, with the duo making audiences reminisce on the original ‘Gadar’ film and their character’s love story. Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur surprise the viewer with their stunning chemistry, making the audience fall in love with their love story in a short span of time. Utkarsh Sharma’s performance as the grown up Jeetey blew us away, with his action stunts, as well as his powerful dialogue delivery.
