My maker told his tale, and I will tell you mine Frankenstein Trailer & Creature Reveal Art Debut directed by Guillermo del Toro. It is set to release in selected theatres October 17 and on Netflix November 7.

The trailer of Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ was released on October 1, 2025. The upcoming Netflix film is based on the gothic-science-fiction novel by Mary Shelley.
The trailer starts with the creature narrating the story of his creator and his quest to find him. A mysterious voice in the background says, “My maker told his tale and I will tell you mine. I remember pieces, memories of different men. Then I saw it, your name, Victor Frankenstein, my creator. I demand a single grace from you. If you are not to award me love, then I will indulge in rage. Now, run.”
There are visuals of secret experiments in an old mansion, eyes being taken off from dead skulls, while a monster in a dark room can be seen. There is also a glimpse at the scientist’s romantic affair with a mystery woman. The trailer ends with the creature finally meeting his creator as he removes his veil.
The upcoming movie has a screenplay by del Toro and is based on Shelly’s ‘Frankenstein’; or, ‘The Modern Prometheus’. It features Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the creature. Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, David Bradley, Lars Mikkelsen, Christian Convery, Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz also play key roles in the film.
‘Frankenstein’ is co-produced by Guillermo del Toro, J Miles Dale and Scott Stuber. It is scheduled to release on November 7, 2025 on Netlifx.
