The Birlas and Goenkas come face-to-face during Sankranti celebration
The Friday episode of Rajan Shahi’s “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” saw Aarohi telling Manish that she is ready to accept any punishment that they give her, but even Akshara should be punished. She asks Akshara if she will leave Abhimanyu for the family’s reputation.
Akshara tries to explain to the family that she has been in love with Abhimanyu from the very beginning but because of the whole confusion that happened earlier, she decided to take a step back. She further said that she tried her best to control her emotions but couldn’t. Aarohi then asks her is that why she decided to run away. Manish gets angry hearing this and asks them to keep quiet. He tells them that he needs time to think over things and asks them to not talk to him in this matter. The girls then try to stop Kairav, but he tells Akshara that because of her one mistake everyone ended up in a mess, and as for Aarohi, he asks her to stop playing the victim or blame Akshara for whatever happened to her.
Makar Sankranti Meet Up
Meanwhile in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, at the Birla house, Abhimanyu gives his resignation to Harshvardhan and tells him that he will start from scratch from his grandfather’s old clinic. He decides to leave home but Mahima stops him and tells him that he should think about his mother before leaving the house. She tells him that things will sort out but he needs to give them time.
The next day, Abhimanyu is making til ke ladoo for Makar Sankranti and Manjari comes to help him. She tells him that he needs to give time to Akshara and her family because if he will try to rush things, they will get messier. Abhimanyu then thanks Neil for all his help and Neil is happy that finally Akshara and Abhimanyu can be together. Abhimanyu then waits for Akshara to call him.
At the same time, Akshara decides that she will do everything that she can to fix things with her family. She had promised to call Abhimanyu and was about to dial his number, but Manish came there, and she accidentally dropped her phone.
Upcoming Episode
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that the Birlas and Goenkas are invited to the same party for the Makar Sankranti celebration. Both the families decide to go. At the party, Akshara meets Abhimanyu and asks him if he has come alone. Abhimanyu tells her that the whole family has come. The families then come face-to-face.
