SHAI Releases New Track Titled “All Dressed Up”

SHAI releases a divine motivational track ‘All Dressed Up’ embracing the beauty of self-love and discovery, confidence and more. The symbolic lyrics represent finding yourself even in the darkness and pushing through despite any hardships. “All Dressed Up” references quarantine and SHAI sheds light on the emotions she faced and what lessons she learnt.

SHAI revisits her roots with “All Dressed Up”, showing how connected she is to her culture with Indian inspired drums & samples throughout. The instruments, particularly the 808 bass, enforce a robust feel.

SHAI’s lyrical ability is further demonstrated by her success as a songwriter. She has had songs released by Nicky Romero & W&W (Protocol), Ayokay (Columbia US), FTampa (Sony Brazil) & Jay Pryor (Positiva) amongst others.

When speaking about the track, she states, “All Dressed Up is inspired by being in lockdown with nowhere to go and making the most of a bad situation. It’s about missing my social life but making my home into my escape, even if that means partying alone. Pandemic or not, sometimes you just want to dress up and feel good about yourself, and this song tells you to do just that.”
