B Praak’s “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat”, starring Akshay Kumar and Nupur Sanon, has reached the Top 100 Music Billboard Charts, placing at #68. The song also features Ammy Virk, and was directed by Arvindra Khaira.
Sung by B Praak and composed by Jaani, “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat” is the sequel to music blockbuster “Filhall”, which has hit one billion views on Youtube. “Filhall” received much acclaim for its music and the chemistry between Kumar and Sanon. Fans were anxiously anticipating the release of “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat”, and in less than 10 days, the video crossed 200 million views on Youtube.
“Filhall” depicted a tragic love story between Kumar and Sanon, and they reprised their roles of Dr. Kabir Malhotra and Meher Grewal, respectively, in the sequel. “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat” shows Kumar’s character sadly remembering his relationship with Sanon’s character, and following her and her husband on his bike. It’s shown that he even attends their wedding, and dances while recalling their own relationship.
Both Kumar and Sanon were eager to share the release of “Filhall 2 Mohabbat” on their respective social media accounts.
Kumar shared “Filhall, my first music video started out as something new and fun to do … but Filhall 2 – Mohabbat is a result of your immense love. Now all yours.”
On her Instagram, Sanon conveyed her love for “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat”. “This song will make you feel all those emotions and feelings that you’ve been hiding deep inside your heart!!”
In a series of posts, B Praak expressed his gratitude for the love fans have showered on “Filhall 2 – Mohabbat”, sharing “60 million views, 2.1 M likes, 237k comments. Power of you guyz, fastest Indian song and you guys made it.”
On the work front, Kumar will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, alongside Katrina Kaif, and Bell Bottom, directed by Ranjit Tewari and starring Vaani Kapoor.
