After making us go gaga over Netflix’s Lust Stories, directors Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap are back. The four are here to entertain us with something new.
The four of India’s coveted film directors will individually helm stories in the horror/supernatural genre for Netflix again.
Now isn’t this something exciting?
Netflix themselves confirmed that Ghost Stories will begin production in August. The four stories will thematically connect to each other and will for sure give you goosebumps.
Ronnie Screwvala and RSVP in association with Ashi Dua of Flying Unicorn Entertainment are the producers of Ghost Stories. This will be the third collaboration between Netflix and RSVP.
Ghost Stories will release exclusively on Netflix. It will stream to 151 million members across 190 countries at the same time.
The first one, Lust Stories had an ensemble cast of Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Neil Bhoopalam, Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Akash Thosar.
Lust Stories received a lot of appreciation by the critics and audiences as well. Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua were the producers under the label of their respective production companies RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. Lust Stories was a sequel to the 2013 anthology film Bombay Talkies. Lust Stories had 4 different stories which were helmed by these 4 directors- Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap.
Ghost Stories’ cast isn’t revealed yet.
