Kriti Sanon last film Luka Chuppi opposite Kartik Aaryan was loved by the audiences. The actress will play a Journalist from Ferozpur in Arjun Patiala. The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh as a quirky cop. It will see Varun Sharma who is going to play the role of an entertaining Hawaldar.
Recently in a group interview, Kriti Sanon mentioned that she is going to play a small-town girl in Arjun Patiala just like Luka Chuppi.
The two characters are very different in their own unique way. Luka Chuppi had more of a small-town flavor while Arjun Patiala has more of a Punjabi flavor.
She also believes that small-town characters have more relatability with the audience in their day to day life. When asked about playing a Journalist again after Luka Chuppi, Kriti quirkily states that Journalism has become her backup plan (laughs).
The actress also went an extra mile to get under the skin of her character. She watched numerous bloopers so that she could add some fun elements into her role since its a comedy film.
Arjun Patiyala got pushed due to several reasons but is finally releasing on 26th July. Directed by Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, the movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
