Katrina Kaif is now working on Sooryavanshi which also stars Akshay Kumar along with who she has delivered many hits. The duo has given films like Singh Is Kinng, Welcome and Namaste London.
Bharat, which saw Salman and Katrina work together again was a huge success at the box office. Kat opened up about working again with Akshay and much more.
Akki and Kat were last seen together in Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan in 2010. After a long time the duo will be seen together.
Katrina when asked if her equation with Akshay has changed over the years, said to a leading daily,
“Not at all. With him, it always feels like going back home. He is a wonderful co-star. Still so focussed and dedicated to his craft. He loves his craft and you can see that.”
When asked about her work experience with Rohit Shetty, she said,
“He is very clear and precise about what he wants. He has an amazing team to support him.”
People always have huge expectations from the Rohit Shetty films, Katrina added.
“I think we all have the pressure to deliver with every film. Every actor wants and craves for that box office success and acceptance from the audience. But at the same time, we are prepared for hits and misses.”
Sooryavanshi is the fourth film of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Akshay plays the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad whereas Katrina plays his love interest in the film.
Sooryavanshi was initially going to clash with Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah. But Rohit Shetty decided to prepone the release date of the cop drama to March 27, 2020.
Sooryavanshi is special for many reasons, but watching the hit couple back together makes it all the more special.
