Karl was a German creative director, fashion designer, artist, photographer and caricaturist who lived in Paris. He was known as the creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, a position he held from 1983 until his death, and was also creative director of the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi, and of his own eponymous fashion label. The celebrities around the world are sending tributes for this legendary icon.
Katy Perry Tweets “Today’s #TuesdayShoesday is dedicated to @karllagerfeld 🕶 – I always aim to combine style and humor, a little TONGUE IN CHIC, just like him 👅👠”.
Surprisingly some of the celebs did not spare the man on his last journey calling him a misogynist.
Jameel tweets: I’m glad somebody said it. Even if it is a little soon. A ruthless, fat-phobic misogynist shouldn’t be posted all over the internet as a saint gone-too-soon. Talented for sure, but not the best person.
There is a mixed reaction on the internet, but the man will surely be missed for his talent. #RIP Karl.
