The actor donated a R5s lakhs to acid survivor, Laxmi Agarwal! The award-winning activist and acid attack survivor opened up about her struggle finding work.
Laxmi has been without work for a year and finds it hard to find work because of her situation. She struggles to make ends meet and has not been getting any jobs. She has tried call centers but no luck. This made her unable to afford many things and left her struggling for a year without work.
Finding work itself is a struggle and cycle we all face. A year without work is sure to make anyone uneasy and leave us worrying about our next source of income. Laxmi surely showed how strong she is to cope for so long without employment.
Akshay Kumar stepped in to help this strong young lady. He directly transferred Rs 5 lakh into her account! He said it was only a tiny gesture to help Lamxi to get back up on her feet. Akshay did not want Laxmi to struggle or worry about rent and child support.
This beautiful gift was continued with Akshay stating that when a person is in need of livelihood, medals and awards do not pay the bills. It is evident that blessings happen every single day!
