Some time ago, we heard that the ‘Ishaqzaade’ jodi Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra will be pairing up again, after 5 years, for Dibakar Banerjee’s next, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’. And now the latest news suggests that the duo will be a part of Vipul Shah’s ‘Namastey Canada’.
This definitely looks like two much information at a go, but it is the truth. Pari, who has made her comeback sorts in Bollywood, tried her luck with ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’, but the movie bombed at the box office. However, pairing up with her debut actor might just turn out to be a lucky charm (since ‘Ishaqzaade’ did get her the fame), which might also probably be the reason both love to be paired up again not once, but twice.
Both Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra confirmed being part of the movie.
Arjun said,
“I’m excited to be a part of this project. After working with giants like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, he (Vipul) has chosen me. ‘Namastey Canada’ has heart and humour, making it a family entertainer.”
Parineeti also exclaimed,
“This is exactly the film I was looking for! It’s a desi story with a videshi heart. I’m excited to be directed by Vipul sir with who I have shared an amazing friendship over the last few years.”
We, however, are awaiting both the movies (‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and ‘Namastey Canada’) equally.
