London based recording artist/rapper, Strikey, is back with his witty, extremely clever/funny track “Average Londoner”.
The title of the song speaks for itself, with Strikey talking and ‘mimicking’ the London life, and how he see’s it in his eyes, with the production giving the listener the classic 80’s jazz feel. Listeners will definitely hear Strikey’s personality blossom in this commercial radio friendly track, talking about a few home truths along the way. Backing vocals from Scottish singer Lizzie Nightingale, give the chorus and bridge a thorough cockney twang. Ever heard a cockney Scot? You have now!
The track was produced by Show’n’Prove (Tinchy Stryder, Roll Deep), and was co-written by Priyesh ‘strikey’ Dusara, Lizzie Nightingale, and Show’n’Prove. On the flip side we have the remix, produced by BassMakerz, which has totally transformed the track into a club smash!
The creative music video combining both original and remix tracks, was shot and edited by Sid Ahmed (Stare Into The Sun), and Marlonn Morgan, and is already notching up the hits on Youtube.
