Every day, I make sure to include soaked almonds and fresh fruit in my diet. I firmly believe in the benefits of consuming fresh and raw fruits and vegetables, and they form a significant portion of my meals. In the Indian subcontinent, we are fortunate to have access to some of the most nutritious millets, and I adapt my choices based on the seasons. It’s worth noting that our culture has long embraced gluten-free options like jowar, bajra, and amaranth, which the world discovered much later. When I’m on a shoot, I always ensure that I carry two nutrition bars with me so when I crave to eat something in between, I have those. These bars are a must-have for me, and I never skip them. Also, I carry my own tiffin, lovingly prepared by my mother, and it’s packed with all the essential nutrients I need. Homemade food is a source of ample nutrition.
