M·A·C and Mickey

Avid Bollywood fans have heard about the amazing works of Mickey Contractor and his glamourous Bollywood makeup transformations. He has worked with all the Bollywood divas from Rani Mukherjee to Deepika Padukone to Priyanaka Chopra and each one of these fabulous females are big fans of his artistry.

Contractor is M·A·C’s Director of Makeup Artistry for India but there’s good news for all of us: his South Asian friendly makeup is no longer restricted to the homeland and has been released at certain M·A·C stores and online for the public. The Spring 2011 collection was released on January 6th at select M·A·C stores but is available online for everyone to purchase (Check out the Contractor Collection here).

The collection includes 4 lipsticks, 2 Lip Glasses, 1 eyeshadow quad, 4 eyeshadows, 2 Fluidline gel liners, 2 blushes, and many foundation variations which are all South Asian skin tone friendly. These colors all have cute South Asian names (i.e. Gulabi, Sur, Gana, Rani, Yash, and Saffron just to name a few) and all of the hues capture the richness and beauty of Bollywood and exemplify a spicy and seductive South Asian aura.
