The Rocky movies are famous for their inspiring underdog story and spectacular boxing matches, where the boxer consistently proves himself against all odds, which would’ve made for a thrilling action if it were real life.
Fox Sports even published a piece about the hypothetical odds for one of the critical bouts in the franchise—that between Rocky Balboa and nemesis Ivan Drago (famously played by Dolph Lundgren).

3. Rudy

While Miracle is an excellent film for sports fans, it also has a broader appeal thanks to its themes of patriotism and perseverance.
5. 42
The film 42 tells the story of Jackie Robinson, the first African American to play Major League Baseball. Robinson faced immense challenges during his career, but he persevered and went on to have a successful career in baseball.
The film does an excellent job of depicting the prejudice and discrimination that Robinson faced, as well as the courage and determination that he showed in overcoming them. 42 is a truly moving and inspiring story.
