There is a lot of hype surrounding the next iteration in gaming consoles, and there have been many rumors as to what games will be available for it. It’s hard to know what to expect from the PS5, but we want to make your decision easier by giving you our top 6 most anticipated games!

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the most anticipated PS5 game for many reasons. Firstly, it is the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – a series that has been around for over a decade and always delivers high-quality gaming experiences. Secondly, this particular game is rumored to take place in Norse mythology, which should make for an incredibly immersive experience. Finally, Ubisoft (the developers of AC) have been tight-lipped about the game so far, which only heightens anticipation levels!

  • Astro’s Playroom VR

Astro’s Playroom VR was one of the most popular games on the Playstation VR headset, and there is much anticipation for its release on the PS5VR. The game is a collection of virtual reality mini-games that are designed to be family-friendly – perfect for players of all ages. With over six million copies sold, it’s clear that there is a lot of demand for this type of game, and we expect Astro’s Playroom VR to be one of the bestsellers on PS5.

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Call of Duty has been one of the biggest online gaming franchises for years, and Black Ops Cold War is expected to be just as popular. The game will likely centre around a new Cold War conflict with Russia – which means that players can expect plenty of espionage to go along with their multiplayer online battles! This instalment in the Call of Duty franchise could have some serious staying power online because it won’t feel so repetitive after being released six other times throughout its lifespan.

  • Control: Ultimate Edition

If you’re a fan of third-person action games, then Control: Ultimate Edition is definitely one to watch out for on the PS5. The game is set in a mysterious and unsettling world where players take control of Jesse Faden – the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control. With enemies around every corner, intense gunfights, and mind-bending puzzles, this title looks like it will be providing gamers with hours upon hours of enjoyment.

  • Deathloop

Deathloop is the newest game to be developed by Arkane Studios – creators of  Dishonored and Prey. It’s an online PVP action game that takes place within a supernatural reality show where contestants are forced to kill each other over and over again until there can only be one survivor. The premise for this exciting new title sounds like something right out of Westworld, but our fingers are crossed that it will live up to its hype!

  • Demon’s Souls

Demon’s Souls is a dark and intense action RPG that was originally released on the Playstation 3. It quickly gained a cult following because of its unique online multiplayer system and challenging gameplay. The game is being remade for the PS 5, so there is speculation that it may finally get the attention it deserves. With an online play that allows for up to eight players, this could be one of the most engaging online experiences on the PS platform – and we can’t wait to try it out!

These are just a few of the games that we are excited about for Playstation five. We can’t wait to see what else Sony has in store for us! Be sure to check back often, as we will be updating this list as more information becomes available.
