Tell us a little bit about yourself.
The Burnt Soul is a storyteller! We are the celebrators of culture, heritage, and craftsmanship. Inspired by elements from around the world, we are the creators of handcrafted goods which are specially crafted to make experiences more soulful.

How does your fashion line set you apart from the other fashion lines?
Our fashion line is inspired by stories, each collection tells a new tale of adventure and experience. Our main focus is sustainable fashion, with a touch of soulful love. We want to make sustainable stories more wearable, comfortable and fashionable.

What are your personal favourite designers?
As a country, India is rich in textiles, colours, regional dress forms as well as prints. The Indian culture is our biggest inspiration behind our fusion garment patterns and details. We are fond of homegrown labels such as Pero and Eka.

With huge names in the fashion industry bandwagon, do you think that new names find tough to create their niche?
We believe that creating a niche in an industry like fashion is based on what you want to tell your customers. For The Burnt Soul, it’s about telling a story with each collection or product. The digital age has been a boon to us, social media, e-commerce or digital publications, each has added to our brand identity and awareness. Our communication has become a part of who we are and what we stand for, and that has helped us to create our very own niche.

What are next five years look like?
In next five years, we plan to diversify from fashion and travel to home products. Even start our own stores in Delhi and Mumbai.
