Actress Pernia Qureshi was the muse for Designer ‘Monika – Nidhii’ on Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week – Winter|Festive’17.
Delhi based versatile Designers Monika-Nidhii presented a refreshing collection themed as ‘An Ethereal Romance’. This collection – An Ethereal Romance – is deeply inspired by the glistening eyes narrating the dream story of a woman. With this collection, the designer have weaved together modern artistry with old world intricate embroideries.
Actress Pernia Qureshi expressed,
“It was a pleasure to walk for Monika – Nidhii at Lakme Fashion Week W|F 2017 and showcase ‘An Ethereal Romance’ collection. Feminine embellishments and slight sparkle are de rigeur in every trousseau and this duo does it in calculated measures for the urban nomadic bride and her entourage. They have done a phenomenal job & I loved every piece they have designed.”
Silhouettes that sparkle as moon dust includes voluminous lehengas with Choli, billowing skirts with body hugging corsets and capes and Metallic sarees embellished with shimmer which highlights the majestic feminine figures use of fabric like georgette, tulle, satin, crepes and organza together makes dream come true.
Designers Monika and Nidhii showcasing their collection for the first time commented,
