Delhi based versatile Designer Hardika Gulati showcased her exclusive collection themed as ‘DRITA’ at Lakme Fashion Week Autumn/Winter’17. Actress Kiara Advani graced the ramp for the designer on Sunday, 20th August 2017.
DRITA is the deeply inspired by the two most important women of Indian mythology – Draupadi and Sita – also referred to as the Sreshta Naris (chaste or pure women), who have practically shaped the psyche of Indian women in the past and continue to do so, even in this jet age of modernity and advanced technology.
The collection is inherited from the concept of Sreshta Naris with a formal suiting to portray the delicacy and pureness of Sita but transformed and depicted in a sensual manner portraying Draupadi from the New Era.
