The Beaches Unveil Music Video Of Edge Of The Earth
Today, Canadian rock band The Beaches has unveiled its official music video for its acclaimed track “Edge of the Earth.”
The video comes as The Beaches continue to hit new heights after being prominently featured in the storyline of Amazon Prime Video’s hit new series “Off Campus.” Originally released as part of their 2023 album Blame My Ex, the “Edge of the Earth” sync has led to massive boosts in streaming numbers across the band’s catalogue, becoming their biggest song across all platforms, and a rise to the top 5 Most Added on US Pop and Alternative Radio.
The video, directed by Lara Chochon, embodies the complicated, raw emotions that come with young love and the instinctual nature to chase and find a romantic connection.
“We’re so thrilled by all the love ‘Edge of the Earth’ has received in the Off Campus world,” the band shares. “It gave us the opportunity to film a music video where we teamed up with Lara Chochon, who we’re such fans of, to create something that reflects queer joy and the queer story that we initially wrote about with a nod to Garrett Graham’s hockey/yearning journey. We hope both our OG & new fans enjoy the beauty of it all.”
The new music video follows the band’s acclaimed 2025 studio album No Hard Feelings. The project is brimming with unapologetically honest, confessional lyricism and anthemic, infectious songs, proving why The Beaches are one of the driving forces of alt-rock today. Last month, the band released an expanded version, No Hard Feelings (Deluxe), adding four new tracks, including their latest single “Should’ve Known Better,” along with previously unreleased tracks “Perfect 10,” “Hypothetical,” and an acoustic version of “Lesbian of the Year.” Listen to the new project HERE.
The Beaches have been having a year for the ages. Fresh off their Global Force Award win at Billboard’s Women in Music Awards last month, the group will carry the momentum of No Hard Feelings (Deluxe) and “Edge of the Earth’s” resurgence on the road throughout the summer, with a run of festival sets around the world and a slew of supporting performances on the US leg of Louis Tomlinson’s “How Did We Get Here? World Tour.” Tour routing below, tickets are available HERE.
With stops by NPR Tiny Desk and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the band is truly one of the most exciting bands making music right now. Stay tuned for more to come from The Beaches in 2026.
