During the family week episode, Ashnoor’s father visited the BB19 house to share encouragement and guidance with his daughter but once he exited, contestants Shehbaaz and Tanya allegedly twisted the intent behind his message, sparking unnecessary controversy.
Awez, who has continued watching the show post-eviction, expressed his disappointment over the situation through his Instagram Stories. He stated:
“Jo baat sirf ek pyar aur guidance ki thi, usko narrative mein badalna bilkul sahi nahi tha. Family members show mein support dene aate hain — unhe controversy ka hissa banana unfair hai. Aur itna bada point Weekend ke Vaar mein address kaise nahi hua!? I’m proud that Ashnoor didn’t react impulsively and stayed respectful. @ashnoorkaur 👏”
