In May 2020, Karen wrote Untold Stories: The South Asian Pioneer Experience in BC, and in 2022, Karen partnered with SikhLens to produce a film, Hidden Histories: The Sikh Migration Path to Canada. She continues to have a major impact by bringing these culturally significant stories to South Asian youth in classrooms locally, and through high profile speaking opportunities at home and around the world.
Karen is committed to sharing her career and community service experiences with the next generation of leaders. She pays it forward to youth through mentorship and is a regular speaker in BC high schools, SFU’s Beedie School of Business, and UBC’s Sauder School of Business.
