As the highly-anticipated show Fauji 2 gears up for its release on November 18, actress Gauahar Khan shared her heartfelt thoughts on being part of this iconic series.
“Fauji is a legacy, and I’m honored to be a part of it,” Gauahar exclaimed. “The boys who have worked in it have given it their all, and it’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait for you all to watch the show and my character as well. Vicky Jain has also done a fabulous job.”
The trailer of Fauji 2 was unveiled on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday, paying tribute to the Bollywood icon who originally played the lead role in the 1988 series.
Gauahar, who stars alongside Vicky Jain and fresh talents, expressed her excitement about the show.
“Nothing more magical than a creative team like this coming together to create one of the iconic shows of our time. I am very excited to be part of such a show that touched many hearts.”
Acknowledging the responsibility of living up to the original’s legacy, Gauahar added,
“Fauji is an emotion, so it’s also our responsibility to live up to the legacy of what that show gave everyone.”
Fauji 2 is produced and directed by Sandeep Singh. It is co-produced by Vicky Jain and Zafar Mehdi, with Sameer Haleem as the creative head.
