Alia Bhatt is set to expand her entrepreneurial ventures as her children’s fashion brand, Ed-a-Mamma, enters the publishing industry with its first children’s picture book, ‘Ed Finds A Home’. This new project is a joint effort with Puffin, the children’s division of Penguin Random House India.
Alia unveiled this exciting news on Instagram with a whimsical Reel that showcased animated characters and the message, “A new Ed-venture awaits.” She also invited her followers to the StoryVerse festival, taking place at Jio World Drive in Mumbai on June 15 and 16. The book will be officially launched on June 16 during the festival.
Ed-a-Mamma, which started in 2020, has established itself as a go-to brand for fashionable and eco-friendly clothing for children, teenagers, and expectant mothers. Its recent acquisition by Reliance Brands for a significant Rs. 300-350 crores reflects its increasing popularity and commitment to quality.
‘Ed Finds A Home’ is the first in a series aimed at nurturing a love for nature among young readers.
Beyond her ventures with Ed-a-Mamma, Alia Bhatt is also involved in multiple film projects. She is co-producing ‘Jigra‘ with Dharma Productions and will star alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’. Additionally, she has a forthcoming film in the YRF Spy Universe that remains untitled.
